PBS made two mistakes recently in regards to it's PBS Kids programming.
First of all, they removed It's a Big Big World (my favorite evening broadcast for the kids on PBS) for a new program called Super WHY! I'm OK with the new program, I just wish they would have removed Dragon Tales instead. I must say that I'm not a big fan of Dragon Tales. And, in the world of watching TV with small children it's all about tolerance as shows/movies are usually watched in bulk. It's just the way it is.
We only watch TV occasionally so it's not a life and death situation, but it is still unfortunate at the same time.
The second, and bigger issue, is that Miss Lori was not replaced. Instead, they simply changed her outfit (which is an upgrade, I admit). I am sure she's a great person in real life...but she annoys me to no end on PBS and she's just got to go. They can get rid of Hooper while they are at it too. I wouldn't mind.
P.S. It's a Big Big World is still on PBS, but is now on at 10:30am each morning instead.
