Halloween 2008

For Halloween this year, my parents and Matt/Morgan came down to hang out with us.  Gina and Morgan stayed back at the house to hand out candy and everyone else (Al/Jeanine/Matt/Molly/Casey/Nattie/Macie/me) went out.  Nattie was a skunk and Macie was a chicken (recycled from a few years ago).

As always, Molly was kind enough to buy a new outfit for the girls this year.

Our trip path was around the pond that is out our front window (both sides of the street).  Gina and I figured that Macie would make it about ten houses and then we'd need to bring her back but she ended up being a trooper.  We trick-or-treated for almost two hours.  Both the girls were fantastic and had a great time.
Surprisingly, the skunk costume was the hit of the neighborhood.  I couldn't believe how many people commented on it.

Here are some pictures from the night:

Around the house updates (Fall '08)

I have a couple of updates from around the house.

First of all, we finally have a new toaster.  One side gluten, one side gluten free.

The other big change is in the garage.  My dad and I put in some much needed shelving.  It has significantly helped us straighten up our basement and garage.

Twitchington

So You Can Think You Can Dance is back, the one show Gina and I consistently watch together every year.  Molly is enjoying it with us as well.

Part of the tradition of getting into the show is picking our favorites.

I now have mine.

From the start Twitch has been my favorite guy.  Tonight, I figured out that Kherington is my favorite girl.  I'm enjoying that they are currently paired together.

2008 NCAA Bracketology

I'll be honest, I've never felt so uncertain filling out an NCAA bracket before.  It's still fun to do though and I have decided to add it out here so that I can easily refer to it during the tournament.

If you want to win the pool you're in, here's the blueprint to do it.  OK, maybe not.

It's a horse a piece...

After much debate, I decided not to vote tonight.  Here's further proof why...

Generally, I am economically neutral and socially liberal.  I'm placed pretty well on the chart as an independent that typically votes for democrats.  As usual, no major party candidate matches very closely with me.

My guess is Obama wins the democratic nomination and I end up supporting him but any of the top four (other then Romney) could still get my vote and I am excited to see how things play out tonight.

I'll definitely have a candidate and vote in November, but right now I just can't quite support anyone fully.
