If you like the movie Bull Durham (i.e. the greatest sports movie ever), it's worth your time to check out this article even though it is merely good, not great. While reading, make sure to follow the red "not completely unheard of" link that is embedded towards the end of the article. It's pretty funny.

My top three (in order) are: Bull Durham, Caddyshack and Best in Show.
I do have a soft spot though for others like Field of Dreams, Remember the Titans, Invincible, Hoosiers, For the Love of the Game, Miracle, Cinderella Man, A League of Their Own, The Natural, Unnecessary Roughness, Major League and (unfortunately) The Replacements.
I probably missed a couple as well.
