Who am I to argue?

For some reason, if anyone out there is able to further explain my conversation with Nattie tonight I'm all ears.

Nattie: Daddy, Macie is sleeping, can I play with the beads please?
Me: Sure.

Nattie: Thanks da-da.  I need to exercise them.
Me: You need to what?

Nattie then seperates the beads out into different groups.  This is what the plate looked like when it was time for bed.  I was informed that she was not finished yet but that she will take care of the rest of them tomorrow.

I'm still confused by the whole thing.

  1. Everyone needs exercise Brian. And since beads don't move, we have to do it for them. Don't you think this is pretty clear?
However, I am confused as to how she gets the words "exercise" and "sort" confused.

  2. Maybe she said "exorcise", like she can see demons living in the beads, and needs to save them.

  3. That's just wrong (but I will admit it's funny). Yipes.

  4. I've seen it happen in too many movies.
