I was talking to my buddy Nick last night via text message and I told him that I was very disappointed in how the presidential debate was going. In other venues I am more OK with it but in a town hall forum like they had I didn't want to deal with the bickering and finger pointing back and forth. Answer the question then sit down and wait for your turn again.
It drove me nuts.

I agree; it was a mess. The candidates couldn't function under the very rules their campaigns imposed on them. Every time they wanted to challenge a point or rephrase something they got yelled at. Either do it "Town Hall" style or don't do it at all.
ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon for feeling my pain. I'm glad they had the debate, don't get me wrong, but I had just hoped for something a little different based on the supposed town hall setting.
